Free WiFi now in the Islander Rooms!
Close the computer and take a walk on the beach, stroll through the woods, lift a few weights in the fitness room, or grab our famous “Islander Fish & Chips” before heading back to work. Free high-speed internet is now available in most of our hotel rooms in addition to the main lodge, Tiki Lounge, restaurant, outdoor patio, marina and camping area. Little will anyone know you’re playing while working. CoVid 19 has changed the way we do our jobs and go to school. Online is the way to go.
The Lopez Islander Resort has long been a secret retreat for nature lovers who also appreciate the amenities of great food, bike rides and waterfront activities. Usually considered a vacation spot in the scenic San Juan Islands, the new high-tech addition of WiFi makes it the perfect place to be productive without having to stay home to do it. The short ferry ride from Anacortes allows you to be safe and cozy in your vehicle.
Every room at the Islander Resort has a bay view and a deck. Relax with a cocktail and watch the most fantastic orange sunset you’ve ever seen. Each room features a fully equipped kitchenette or small refrigerator, along with a microwave and coffee maker. If you choose to bring your own food, preparation is easy. There are even outdoor BBQ areas.
So, bring the laptop and lounge on a comfy hotel bed while working. You don’t have to tell anybody, and we’ll keep your secret.
For families who would prefer NOT to indulge in the modern convenience and distraction of the internet, we have fantastic WiFi-free vacation homes available for rent on the resort property, and you won’t have to tell the kids to get off the computer and go for a hike. They’ll think of that themselves. And if it’s summer, you won’t be able to get them out of the pool. Also, note that if you arrive by boat, our marina doesn’t have internet service. But then, you may not want it there, either!
