The Staff at Lopez Islander Resort

Public Spaces

Public Spaces will be cleaned and sanitized with increased frequency by our dedicated staff. Social distancing and mask signage will be positioned throughout the hotel and restaurant as a friendly reminder. We also ask that you wear a face mask when in the public spaces as they are required in Washington State.

Hand Sanitizing

Hand washing and sanitizing stations are available in the lobby entrance, reception desk and public restroom.

Reception Desk

Reception desk will have a clear partition added to minimize exposure. Additionally, we have a dedicated check in station to limit contact at check in/out. Guests will continue to be required to show government approved valid ID and credit card. Credit cards are self-swiped and sanitized keys and pens are supplied.

Restaurant and Bar

We are offering dine in and take out options and are using the department of food and safety guidelines.  We have made the necessary changes to our restaurant and lounge area and set up an environment for safe dining to ensure social distancing.

Guest Rooms

Guest rooms will continue to be cleaned using our high standards and hospital grade cleaning solutions, along with the use of a fogging machine between each stay. Hotel directory, pens/note pads, extra pillows, irons, and additional amenities will be removed and made available upon request. This will ensure that after every use, items are cleaned and sanitized for extra levels of precaution. You may reach out to the front desk at any time if you need towels or any additional items. During check out, our team will pay greater attention to cleaning and disinfecting high contact areas such as handles, knobs, switches, and TV remote. Guest rooms will be cleaned and sanitized for your arrival.

Housekeeping

In addition to our high standards of cleaning our team has also increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting of high-touch areas. All housekeepers are required to wear masks and gloves and have been trained in the proper use and disposal, or washing of them after each cleaning. Additionally, we will work with you on a cleaning schedule and degree of cleaning during your stay to ensure social distancing and the safety of you and our staff.

Team Members

Team Members have been provided personal protective equipment to wear. Our staff has been trained to avoid close contact and to practice social distancing and frequent handwashing. Additionally, our staff has been instructed on increased cleaning and sanitization measures per the CDC guidelines for all public areas, keys, public bathrooms and any specific touch points.
